About Ortley Beach
Ortley Beach is a small oceanfront community on the barrier island, part of Toms River and often called Dover Beaches South, with around 1,600 year-round residents and crowds many times that in summer. Our drivers know the area beyond the airport runs: the two local beaches that fill up on hot weekends, Island Beach State Park just to the south, the rest of Toms River back across the bay, and Six Flags Great Adventure a short trip inland. The whole island is reached over Route 37, and the bridges back up fast at the start and end of a beach day. Whether you are heading out for an early flight or coming home, we know the local roads and how to time the run around the bridge traffic.
