Your Trip to New York Airports: Planning Ahead

The Port Authority Cares Enough to Plan Ahead…So Should You!

The New York Tri-State Area is one of the busiest areas in the country for travelers. The number of people that come and go through the skies, bridges, and tunnels surrounding New York City is one of the highest in the world.  Because of this high volume of people and the necessity to keep them all safe, the Port Authority is continually looking at ways to upgrade their transportation centers. Currently, the Port Authority has $32 billion dollars earmarked for eight different projects in the Tri-State Area.

Travelers to the Tri-State Area can look forward to improvements at Newark Liberty Airport such as a renovation of Terminal A, an extension to the PATH leading to Newark Liberty, the repair of the monorail.  At LaGuardia, money is being invested in the redevelopment of Terminals C and D and the relocation and improvement of Terminal B. The Port Authority Bus Terminal is slated to be replaced, a massive restoration of the George Washington Bridge is planned, and  the Gateway Project of the Port Authority tunnels is set to begin, all without increasing the tolls on Port Authority motorways.

These projects are bound to cause delays in traffic, and the lone traveler may find it difficult to ensure that they arrive at their transportation destination in a timely manner. However, if you make the choice to book your ride with CJT, we are constantly monitoring the routes to all major airports and can make sure you arrive on time, and we’ll be there for you when you return. Let CJT take care of the headaches of planning your transportation to the airport/station and just enjoy the ride!
